Professor Vladimer Papava (FCAcad) was invited and officially appointed by the Academic Committee of the Ke Rui Academy as a Member of the Academic Committee.

Vladimer Papava

Professor Vladimer Papava is an internationally recognized economist, Fellow of the International Core Academy of Sciences and Humanities, Academician and Academician-Secretary of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, and Professor of Economics at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. He was the former Rector of the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (August 16, 2013 – April 20, 2016) and the former Minister of Economy of Georgia (June 1994 – May 2000).

Professor Papava's research interests focus on Applied Economics, Post-Communist Economies, Macroeconomics, Economic Growth and Development, and International Policy Economy.
